Senior Chinese leaders bid farewell to former State Councilor Wang Fang, whose body was cremated in Hangzhou on Tuesday.

Wang died of illness on Nov. 4 in Hangzhou, capital of east China's Zhejiang Province, at the age of 90.
Wang was "an outstanding member of the Communist Party of China(CPC), a long-tested and loyal Communist fighter, a proletarian revolutionary, and an excellent leader in the public security, political and legislative work," a CPC statement said.
Li Keqiang and Zhou Yongkang, both members of the Standing Committee of CPC Central Committee Political Bureau, went to Hangzhou to attend the funeral on behalf of the CPC Central Committee.
President Hu Jintao, former President Jiang Zemin, top legislator Wu Bangguo, Premier Wen Jiabao, and other top leaders had visited Wang Fang when he was in the hospital or conveyed their condolences to Wang's family after he passed away.
